=?iso-8859-1?Q?Kenmore_=22Evenheat=22_Dryer_Model_number:_110.63932101?= 14 February 2006 Mr. Aylwin B. Lewis CEO, Sears Retail; President and CEO of Sears Holdings Corp. 3333 Beverly Rd. Hoffman Estates, IL 60179 Good Day, Sir! This note is enclosed with a burned-out evenheat circuit board of a Kenmore “Evenheat” Dryer Model number: 110.63932101. This dryer was bought at your Glendale Sears department store about 2 years ago and stopped functioning about a month ago. I immediately suspected that this was not an isolated event and entered the model number into “Google”. I found about 3 or 4 blog sites that discussed problems with this model. Apparently, several thousand other people have the same problem. A few of them were quite frustrated and have even tried to reach you by email. I read the blogs and first tried to contact your service department. Let me tell you, your service departments are useless and they should not be called service departments. They should be called “frustration” departments. I am not one of the frustrated ones. I read more and ordered the part and fixed the dryer myself and it is working fine. What I am not happy with is the expense of ordering a part for a relatively new dryer, which was defective in the first place. Thank you for your time, Sincerely, Ramon Tujunga, CA 91042 From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Thursday, 16-Feb-06 13:41:11 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
