Alarm Monitoring System

Round Rock, Texas

I am in the same situation with everyone else who has complained. I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau and I am about to file a complaint with the Attorney General of Texas' office against them. We moved and no longer needed or wanted the alarm, but were told that we had to let them know 60 days before to cancel our contract, that had auto-renewal (which we were not told of initially). I told the customer service person that if I would have known 60 days prior to our house being up for sale that we were going to move, I would have let them know. I told her that I didn't have a crystal ball to tell the future, but if I did, I DEFINITELY would not have signed with them. They use high pressure sales tactics and when I called to complain to the manager, they said they would put my alarm in for "free" ( little did I know at the time that this was their M.O.) I had a one year old at the time and they got very, very nasty with me when I told them that I did not want them at my house at 9:00 at night since my child was asleep. Dummy me, I let them come back the next week and put the alarm in. Hindsight is 20/20 isn't it? T

They told me that they would put me into collections and it would affect my credit. I called the credit protection agencies to tell them to put fraud warnings on my account. I also called a lawyer and let him know that I would be willing to do a class action lawsuit against them. If anyone is interested, let's see what we can do to shut this fraudulent company down.
