I fell for one of those stupid pop ups that said you have won a new flat screen TV and signed up for the literary guild select book club; I did not receive the flat screen TV. At first I was pretty satisfied with the books that I had ordered and had no problem paying for them upon receipt. Any how, my complaint with Literary Guild is that I have been charged for books that I never even received nor did I order them. They eventually turned me over to a collection agency. I responded with a very angry letter and they pulled me from collections. Included in that letter was a request to cancel my membership as I was no longer satisfied with their business practices. I have not received another book. Well, as of February 7, 2006, I have been turned over to a collection agency again for more books that I did not receive.
