Frigidair built-in oven

Frigidair built-in oven

Whitney Texas

After 45 years of marriage I bought my first frigidaire product, and my last!! I wanted to replace my existing Roper built-in oven with a new one to update my kitchen but since the existing oven was only 24 inches wide and the newer ones were larger, I was only able to find a Frigidaire and a Maytag which would fit the existing width. The Maytag was not as tall as my opening, so I went with the Frigidaire. I bought a Viking cook top (thank God).

The Frigidaire is a piece of junk. Had to call service the first thing off the bat because the buttons to set the timer did not work. They replaced them but within two days the did not work half the time again. The thermostat is off so I had to buy an oven thermometer. It takes 30 minutes to preheat, (both the oven and the kitchen), then it does not maintain an even temperature. Food cooks faster in the front than in the back, so has to be turned during baking for even results. Overall, it has been a nightmare. Wish I had my 35 year old Roper back. I would replace it, but being on a limited income I spent my entire budget on the replacement and installation and now just have to live with it.
