ABNAMRO CREDIT CARD/ICICILOMBARD GENERAL INSURANCE Hi all,This is against ICICI Lombard General Insurnace and ABNAMRO Credicard division. Please go through the following chain of mails you will understand how The consumers are trapped with the teleservices and how much mental rupture it will Create. I never wanted to have a policy …I never given a wriiten autherisation to accept the Policy against the ABNAMRO credit card. Now ABNAMRO is insisting on paying an amount 2800 (I never used the card for my personal purpose They only booked a general insurance policy saying me that I can cancel at any point of time) Wheni approached to cancel the policy noboday bothered to give me complete information and These people say I need to pay minimum of 4000 plus for the policy.. I can’t understand how stupid the communication gap between ICICI lomabard and ABNAMRO looks.. All the following issue has eaten a lot of time and money and energy from me. I request all the consumers to think twice before saying yes on the teleservices people as they are least Bothered to explain the rules which will trap you.. SO FAR NO MEANINGFUL SOLUTION THEY HAVE GIVEN BUT THEY INSIST ON PAYING THE AMOUNT. I AM TRYING TO APPROACH A CONSUMER FORUM VERY SOON… Regards, Naveen

Dear Sir/Madam, ICICI Lombard General Insurance ,
This is regd the cancellation of the policy and the full reversal of the amont that you have blocked on the ABNAMRO credit card.
Please find the following trail of emails that i have sent to you regd The cancellation of policy .
No body has informed me redg the duration (ie if i cancel in the first month the full premium will be reversed or if it is late 50% will be reimbursed)
I came to know about these rules only yesterday.
The hard copy has reached me in the mid of october .
i can't sit and read entire tiny letters of rules of the policy ( which I never wanted to have)
i have sent the wriiten letter to cancel the policy thru registered
post on 11/11/2005.
And the icicilombard people were least bothered to respond quickly.
In the month of january i came to know that the policy is still active.
i was Shocked recieve the bills to pay for the abnamrocredit card which I never used .
I resent the letter along with all the attachements thru dtdc courier On jan 17 2006.
Because of the communication gap created by you and ABNAMRO this Deadlock is happening.
Hope you people sort out this issue and let me know about the same.
I don't know ,but if meaningful solution(complete reversal of the amount )is not occurred then it will force me to go to consumer forum.
Please respond proactively to this issue .
All this issue is showing both ! abnamro and icicilomabrd general Insurance in a very bad light
Please revert back with the solution.

Please update me whether the letter for cancellation of the policy issued to mehas reached you or not.I am getting calls from ABNAMRO to repay the amount which was blocked on the name of this policy which i never interested in.
Please do the needful . I am waiting fo rthe past one week in vain without any response from you .
