3 web / cybersurf internet access / internet phone service Hi, One day, I got an Ad in my mailbox about a good deal on internet and phone. It printed on the Ad, CIA Local phone service with FREE High Speed for only CAD 39.95. A week later, I signed up with them online. A month later, they sent a CD, costing around 22.00, for me to setup my computer. Then, they sent a tech over to setup the phone. Everything seems working fine when the tech was here, but the next day, both of the internet and phone were not working. I called them, and they said they were sub-contrators of Shaw. They will email Shaw to inform them not to disconnect my internet as I have switched to 3web. After waited for a few days, I was frustrated with no phone and internet. I kept using my cell phone to call 3web, but I have to wait for 20 - 30 minutes to speak with an employee. Eventually, after more than a week, they agreed to refund me within 2 to 6 weeks. I waited for 6 weeks, nothing, so I called them again. One of them said they have confirmed the refund and it will show on my next creditcard statement. 10 weeks later, I still did not get a refund statement on my creditcard bill. I called my credit card company, they claimed that nothing is refunded back to me so far. Again, I called 3web, and their employee said that they forgot to send the notes out. I feel they have been lying to me. I wonder this is a fraud. Even though they are not, their service is really lousy. Now, I stick to Shaw and telus. Even though I have to pay more, but it is worth it. Trust me.
