I have just finished reading a letter from Heather on your website regarding payment for a book that our poems were to be published in. This is the link I followed http://www.complaints.com/directory/2004/august/12/25.htm

I too had sent payment in to be published with the American Poet Society. I received a letter and an email (which I still have) stating that they liked my poem and would like to publish it. I sent in the money and when I did not receive any word I searched for a way to contact them. I did infact find a phone number and contact them several months after sending in payment. I was told by a staff member that it takes time to publish a book. I have continued to try and contact them to no avail. I have been fighting this battle since December 24th 2004, 14 months now. I feel I also fell victim to the American Poet Society and hope that by contacting you, new ideas will be offered on how to either get the book or receive a refund.
