NCO FINANCIAL SYSTEMS INC - FORMERLY RISK MANAGEMENT ALTERNATIVES

Researching websites to allocate a physical location and directory list, I came across your website with numerous complaints against NCO Financial Systems Inc.

I also am disgraced with the procedures of this collection agency. I received a settlement letter through Risk Management Alternatives to which I paid the settlement offer in January 2005. On February 2006, I received a call from an NCO rep to which she said I owe a balance that was never collected. I proceeded to tell them this debt had been collected. I am currently working with NCO to get this matter taken care of. They informed me that this is a new debt, which it is not. There is a miscommunication between Risk Management and NCO. NCO doesn't have my name in the system, but I have my cancelled checks to verify that I did pay Risk Management Alternatives. A rep for NCO tried to tell me that he was employed with Risk Management and that is was no way they could have had my account. I asked for the account number NCO had to verify that it was the same account with Risk Management. They would not give me any information on my account. The demeanor of the reps are very rude and unprofessional and almost threatening. My next step is to contact the Better Business Bureau and the Fair Collections Act Agency.
