We had purchased a matching waher and dryer set. The washing machine was damaging our linens. They sent out two seperate sevice people, both agreed that there was damage, but could not detemine the problem. Maytag did agree to give us our money back for the washing machine, but transfered us to a different department for the claim damage. After filling out several forms and phone calls they dedied our damage claim. We found out later that when they get you to agree to the refund for the washing machine, they word it in such a way that they can use it to deny your claim later. Due to the way they handled the entire cituation, we have decided to get rid of any Maytag applainces that we currently have and refuse to purchase any Maytag appliances in the future My goal is to let everyone know how there customer service depatment works. Don't be fooled by the Brand name, there are alot of other good companies out there that stand behind there products.
