NCO Financial Systems

Phone call to my home from "Catherine". Identified themselves as NCO Financial Systems. Did not identify what they did. I immediately told her that I was on a national do not call list. She said that I was not her list. I said that I was filing a complaint because I am tired of companies calling me then apologizing and saying they would put me on their list. I stated that I am on the list and she is supposed to check before calling me or there may be a major fine involved.

She then confessed that she was calling from a collection agency for my Columbia Hearst DVD account and that I owed money. I really hit the ceiling then. I have not nor have I ever had an account. She should have been courteous enough to identify up front why she was calling and the matter could have been cleared up quickly. Instead she wasted my time! Evidently this company does no investigation, just picks out same names and begins to make phone calls to everyone with that name to harrass them for payments. I don't appreciate these types of phone calls!
