The Haier dishwasher was purchased on June 6, 2005. The dishwasher
washes and dries the dishes well!! A short time after starting use, the
bottom "dish rack started to fall" into the bottom of the unit. It
seemed that if one was vary carefully pushing the rack into the machine
it would stay on the track and not fall into the bottom of the unit.
Eventually this "falling of the rack" caused a large dish that was
sticking up and somehow brake a tooth off the water sling on the bottom
of the top rack!! This was the end of this dishwashers cleaning of dishes!!
On Jan. 10, 2006 we made a call to Haier service!! On Jan. 12, 2006 a
service man came out and declared the unit non reparable due to the
frame being weak and bent!! The unit would need to be replaced!!!
On Jan. 31, 2006 we called to see when a replacement would arrive. We
were told that a replacement would arrive in 3 to 5 days by Brian ( a
supervisor ) @ Ext. 4515.
On Feb. 1, 2006 we called again and were told the unit had not shipped.
On Feb. 10, 2006 Karen ( a supervisor ) @ Ext. 4221 told us we were
talking to a call center and all they could do is pass information along
to Haier for action. She promised she would put in an expedite for this
dishwasher replacement, but that was all she could do, as this was only
a call center.
At this point I am very displeased with the service that Haier provides.
The in home service was done in a timely fashion, but the replacement of
a non repairable machine is atrocious!!
