Wicks furniture My name is Capt Willis; I’m the son of John and Chris Willis. My parents recently purchased furniture from your store in Skokie Il. Unfortunately after receipting for the loveseat my Mom realized that it did not suit her needs. She in-turn inquired about returning the love-seat for something that doubled as a sofa-bed. In accordance with your 7 day policy she can neither return nor exchange the loveseat. I can assure you that the furniture is still in pristine condition, the same as when they purchased it. Furthermore I can understand your perspective as it relates to business; i.e. how after a certain time furniture adopts the nature of its surroundings. Only two people live at my parent’s house. The furniture as it stands to day hasn’t even been sat upon. In addition we have made several purchases, but this one in particular references your dedication to customer satisfaction. We are not satisfied! Here’s my guarantee to you, I guarantee that we will never re-visit your store.
p.s. the Capt in my title is applicable to the United States Marine Corps. We purchased a table and attempted to return the item. The table was still in the box. They basically said-sorry no returns. We live approximately 250 miles from the nearest store and have, in the past, purchased several items over the years. If their policy is no return, save yourself a lot of trouble and only support those businesses who have a reasonable customer service policy. Good riddance to a very unfriendly company with a too rigid policy.
