Allied Interstate Collections

Allied Interstate Collections I received a phone call from Allied Interstate Collections regarding a past due Verizon account. I'd lost a job a few years prior, causing a snowball of closed accounts and ultimately an eviction and was finally getting most of it all paid off. They offered a settlement, I couldn't accept it and I asked about a payment plan. He,...."he" being a gentleman named "Tim" I found out later,....He said I needed to pay 10% today, that he'd waive the fees and he'd contact me later for additional payments. I agreed and gave him my debit card info. I found out later that day that he made the payment for the full amount. I called in and requested a supervisor and talked to "Vince",....who told me that Tim claimed I agreed to the full amount and I was out of luck. When I asked for the call recording to be checked, he hung up on me. I've spoke to a few other supervisors and as of this e-mail, nothing has been corrected. I'm contacting the Better Business Bureau (in both IL and CA) and the Attorney General's for both states.
