REFRIGARATOR

This complaint IS IN REGARDS TO A REFRIGERATOR I bought at Sears here in Toledo,Oh.The compressor went out and I was informed by my tenant that the refrig had stopped working on Xmas day,the following day my wife called Sears to inform them of what had happenend and they said it would be Thursday before someone could come over to look at it.I took That day off work to let the repair man in ,at which time I was informed that the compressor had went out,and that he could not get a new one until the following Friday,mind you this is rental property,and how can I Expect my tenants to pay me on time with this problem going on(also I had to reimburse them seventy five dollars for the food which they lost(Yes I did go see what they lost)and now I'm going to have to drop at least fifty dollars off of their rent for the month of Jan,anyways the repairman made a few calls and informed me that he might be able to get the part in by Tuesday Jan,02,2007 which if that happens will be a week without their refrig.I ask the repairman if they had a loaner and I was told that couldn't be done.I did some calling around and two different stores Home Depot,and Lowes both said they would have just replaced the unit since it was still under warranty,my wife and I had been with Sears at least fifteen yrs ,and have bought many big Items from them,but never have had this kind of service in which we now are thinking of just paying off Sears and changing our major purchases to JCPENNYS WHICH IS JUST UP THE STREET FROM THEM.Not happy with the service
