I had a Mannington Vinyl Floor installed in my kitchen six years ago at a cost of $49.95 per yard installed. I was told at the store that this was a "top of the line" floor and came with a ten year warranty. The floor has now split in two places. I contacted Mannington who directed me to submit my proof of purchase along with pictures of the damaged area. After doing so, I was told that the ten year warranty only covers discoloration and denting - not tears. My previous floor (which was 29 years old) never fell apart like this despite the fact that it was far less expensive. The so-called warranty is useless.
