On 11/26/2006 I signed up for Vonage phone co. They had switch my phone over very fast. On the 27th I wasn't getting any calls, and when I tried to log on to Vonage to make the "rings" longer to be able to answer,I could not. I called them & I was given a new password that didn't work either. In the meantime, AT & T cut off my DSL, so in 3 days I had no phone, no computer & I had to buy a cell phone.On 12/1/ I called to cancel the service, they just kept me on the phone & didn't cancel. I called two more times, sent a letter to their office in New jersey. Wouldn't you know it, I received an e mail canceling my service on 12/28. That is 32 days after I signed up. That way they don't have to give me my money back. Vonage has a 30 day money back guarantee, but you have to fight for it. There is something wrong with this picture.

I have had vonage phone for almost 3 years needed to cancell my account. They billed me on January 29th and I switched my number back to ATT. They said that they could not refund me the balance of the month which was through Feb 27th. If I wanted to discuss this further I had to call the billing dept. I called and was put on hold 7x the last time being so long that I hung up and of course they never called me back which is what they said that they would do if we got disconnectted. All they kept telling me was policy blah blah blah. I take customer service calls and know for a fact that policies can be broken to keep a customer happy. I am so disappointed in a company that can be this way. I have also heard that if you cancell within a certain amt of time that they charge you to cancell how
