NFL Network Preview

I have a hard time understanding why Time-Warner "chooses" the markets they want to for the NFL Network FREE WEEK.

I have always had "Direct T.V." since moving from Plano, Tx. to the Charlotte, NC area. When my wife and I moved to Myrtle Beach, our townhome builder set up the cable outlets for Time Warner. We thought we would give cable a try once again but have found how the options of either Direct or Dish offer gives their "CUSTOMERS" much more overall selection.

I assume that with the non offer of a free week of preview of the NFL channel, that Time-Warner once again has chosen for their customer base.

Thanks for the restrictions. If this company is one in whole, why does it offer the preview in "OTHER TIME-WARNER MARKETS?
