HHGregg lack of service

HHGregg lack of service This is an email regarding a continued lack of customer service by HHGregg. We had bought a 52 inch DLP TV by JVC roughly one year ago. Since then, it has been replaced. Currently there is another problem with the replacement television set, this is approximately 11-12 months after the original TV had been replaced. The current TV is unwatchable, therefore, of no use. While we currently have a service warranty on the television set, it has still been 30 days without a TV. As a dissatisfied customer, we have contacted HHGregg on SEVERAL occasions, including emails, phone calls and visits to the store to discuss our displeasure. At the 4th week, we called customer relations and simply asked for "in store credit" due to our utter disgust at the situation and the significant need to change both Christmas and New Years plans that focused on the gathering area, of which the TV was a central component. HHGregg flat out refused to offer in store credit and stated "it was bad luck". They stated they were of no obligation to give credit or a loner regardless of how long we had been without a TV. They stated there was a 30 day return policy and this was supposedly found on the back of the receipt. When I stated "I have the receipt and there is no such policy listed" the customer service rep said nothing. I reiterated that the reason I shop at HHGregg was the reputation for service especially in the indianapolis area. I told them I would never shop there again nor would I suggest them to ANY friend. She simply did not care. HHGregg will never get my business again, and I have filed a complaint with the BBB.
