DELL support service from India OUR NINE MONTH EXPERIENCE WITH A NEW DELL COMPUTER....
We are not new to buying DELL....I have purchased about 14 units from DELL since they started and I am one of only a few that helped Micheal Dell financially, before he went public with his company!

Received April 5 and it is also the first day I wrote regarding this computer crashing...
WE tried numerous things per your technical support with no positive results....it continues to crash frequently often as soon as you start using it, but also after you are working on it...... in early May, we left the country and did not come back till September. We were of course unable to continue to try and get the computer repaired while we were not at a fixed destination.
October 9 2006, we tried again by contacting DELL help on line....we had an online conversation and did numerous tests with your agent Vinayak_0189369...I continued the test and the next day someone called me back by the name of Divya Harish of your technical support of Bangalore India... I gave her my error codes of OFOO:136C Msg IDE device failed.
She told me that she would replace the hard drive and send the computer in for repair...she was going to send me a box for shipping and she send me information how to remove the hard drive and to later on reinstall the software back on the new harddrive.
NOTHING HAPPENED>>>>I called and emailed her numerous times but never did receive an answer nor did we get the shipping container nor the harddrive for repairing my laptop
On November we got involved with a new service techinician...this time it was VIKRAM 01133770....numerous conversations both on line and on the phone....we spend many hours doing test and giving him the error codes we got....He arranged for us to send the computer to the DELL service department and after almost 3 weeks we got it back, but as soon as we turned it on it crashed just like it did before!
ViKRAM seems to think it is a hardware related problem and the report that I got said it was an unrecoverable hardware error that caused the operating system to stop functioning.
This computer is in my name Matt Wiggers and it was registered with DELL in my name and i bought it brand new ...never used...but sofar have been unable to use it.....I am tired of dealing with this problem any longer and need to talk to a supervisor to make a final determination as to what DELL is going to do about this...the one year warranty will be over before I get a chance to use this computer!

I am now dealing with a "resolution Specialist" called Reeti from India (Rep ID 0186574) I had send her letters explaining many of my attempts to get my laptop working....but she claims she never gets my letters....I get hers in about one minute! Can anyone in the good old USA help me with my problem...I have waited NINE months for help now!
