Banking at National City Bank

Banking at National City Bank

All of the complaints aimed at National City and other banks are unbelievable!!! Maybe if people would keep better track of their finances and actually balance their checkbook more than once a month, then there would be no fees!!!!!! Also, if you use your checkcard, deduct the amount at the time of your transaction!!!!!! The bank is absolutely correct in saying that overdraft fees ar not in fact a bank error!!! Come on people, lets be real...You know what you have in the bank, so stop kiting, and writing checks that you know are rubber!!!!!once you write that business a check, who knows when it will clear. Stop complaining about fees and keep an eye on your money:)

I agree, Amy is a dumb ass and must make $7 an hour as a bank teller for them... Get a clue.

National City is very unprofessional and shady in the way they conduct business with their customers. We were in a situation where we were charged 6 overdraft fees. Our statement never showed a negative balance, explain that one. I made a phone call to customer service to disupute the charges. Of course they wouldn't budge off the fees even though they couldn't explain why they happened (we will call this ignorant employee, Amy). We went to our local branch and although they couldn't explain the fees, they refunded us 2 of the charges...WOW, that was nice of them especially since we never had a negative balance (sarcasm). After this incident I started to pay more attention to the deposit being made on my account - Cash deposits take up to 24 hours to process (CASH!) and direct deposit upt to 48 hours. SHADY! I love the random $2-5 fees that just show up on your account also. They are a hoot!

She must work for the bank. in my case the manager failed or refused to properly adminster to the account. when I complain about fees assessed due to there error I get the account closed? Seems National city's idea of customer service and fair banking practices is screw the customer and if they complain too much maxamize fees any way we can and close the account. I never ever was treated this way ever. they assessed me $580 dollars in fees and refused to rebate one dime due to an item I disputed on my account. I paid the fees and over some other unauthorized activity they asses fees and this time when they complain they close the account? who bank closes an account at will when the customer has almost $1,000.00 in it? They use unfair practices to inflate fees and when the customer finally refuses to accecpt there outragious actions they make the problem go away as opposed to face there failure and wrong account maintance. I kept my check book stright they failed to do the same and find ways to inflate fees

Amy your so stupid. Wake up and smell the coffee. They have an algorithem set up to maximize their profits by stacking customers charges so what may of been one overdraft is now many. Why don't you pay attention to the complaints before posting... dumbass!
