Jack LaLaine Juicer

Jack LaLaine Juicer I must say this is by the far the worst juicer I'm had the opportunity to use. After purchasing it for less than 3 months, I had to call for replacement parts. I paid for the parts and although I gave her the proper sku and type number, the part sent did not fit. The juicer did not work and the frustration caused me to put it up for some months. I decided to again attempt to use it but with the old parts. Lo and behold, the motor stopped working completely. I attempted to troubleshoot but to no avail. I've had this juicer for less than one year and its inoperable. Over the years I've bought other juicers for far less - some as cheap as 1/4 of the price of this and they've lasted much longer. ONE YEAR! I have a citrus juicer that outlast my marriage. It's at least 15 years old and still going strong. What kind of product is he selling and how can a reputable man (I assume such) put his name on something this bad. Bottom line is: DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT AND IF YOU MAKE THAT FATAL MISTAKE, DON'T EXPECT ANY SATISFACTION IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG - WON'T HAPPEN! Irene

I was taken in by an early morning infomercial for the Jack Lalane Power Juicer Pro. All their promises of some "sturdy stainless steel" machine and the long warranty led me to sign up for five payments of $29.95 plus $29.95 shipping and an extended warranty for another 30 bucks. The first day I realized it was no better than the generic plastic model from Walmart I've been using for three or four years. Three weeks later the "innovative drip-free spout" broke right off the machine. I called what turned out to be the worst customer service dept ever and spent over 20 minutes (and NOT on a toll-free number) convincing the rep that I really did want to return the juicer. She questioned, cajoled, brow-beat and tried to cut a deal to make me keep the defective machine. She wanted to take two payments off and send me replacement parts to "fix" it. However, that would make the deal a final sale and I would have to forever hold my peace. When I became stern with her and demanded instructions on how to return it, I was warned that it would be "a big hassle" to try and get credit after it was received. I persisted, and was given an address. I took the package to FedEx that day and was told the address was INVALID! I plugged the address into the UPS website---surprise, surprise...also INVALID with them. These people actually gave me a bogus address! I called them back seven times, only to be disconnected EVERY time after a recording stating they were experiencing a very high volume of calls. (no wonder!) At the end of the day I was able to get back into the call center and was given a totally different address (same city, different street and zip code). I shipped the juicer back and am currently waiting to get credit for it. NEVER AGAIN!
