new complaint COMPANY NAME: Only Golf Apparel www.onlygolfapparel.com BUSINESS TYPE: web-based golf apparel shop LOCATION: 14 North 1st Ave. Suite 100 St. Charles, IL 60177 COMPLAINT/SITUATION: I ordered a Nike Men's Golf shirt as a Christmas gift in mid-Dec 2006. We paid extra ($14) to ship it so that it would arrive on time. This is about DOUBLE what USPS actually charges to ship this sized box Priority Mail, but you don't know what kind of shipping "SAVER" is until the USPS box arrives. The shirt arrived on time, but it was the wrong size. The invoice clearly stated that we requested a medium, but they shipped a large. The company was closed on the weekend, so we started calling the following week. The 1-800 number went no where. Each time you called, you had to listen to add after add before you were told to "wait for the next representative." Once passed on to a "hold" cue, you were disconnected about 30 seconds later--no opportunity to leave a message or speak with anyone. This has happened well over a dozen times in the TWO weeks I have been calling. I also called a non-1-800 number posted on the "RETURNS" page of their web site. That number just rang and rang. Someone finally picked it up and hung up on me. I immediately attempted to contact them via email when the phone call(s) didn't work. Their web site requests 24-72 hours for a reply. It's been two weeks, I've sent THREE emails and not a single email has been answered. We are beyond frustrated. As a last resort, I looked these guys up at the Better Business Bureau. They have an unsatisfactory rating due to unsolved consumer complaints. Today, I will be filing a complaint against them as well. Do not purchase merchandise from this company. They are impossible to get a hold of, unresponsive, and clearly don't practice what they preach when their own invoice says they, "strive for 100% customer satisfaction."
