Jenn-air Gas Cook- top JGC9430ADF

Below, is the letter that I sent Jenn-Air. They responded to this letter by telling me to wash the burners with warm water and a mild soap....Can you belive this.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with your product. After a few months of installing my Jenn-Air cooktop, I cannot help but feel disappointed with the craftsmanship of your work. I have owned many appliances before, in fact, prior to purchasing the Jenn-Air, I owned a stainless steel Whirlpool cooktop, which was excellently crafted. The only reason I replaced my whirlpool was because I remodeled my kitchen and wanted a sealed burner. I chose Jenn-Air because of its reputation for quality and sleek design.

To say the least, the product is cheaply made; the stainless steal grade is horrible. The baked on grease on the burners does not come off, no matter what industrial strength product I am using to clean it. The ignition button snaps off constanly when you turn the gas on and also on its own when you close a cabinet door. To top it off the knobs are made not made of stainless steel like it appears in your product description...it is a plastic imitation, in fact two of them already melted down. I am at my wits end with this cooktop. Is there anything you can do to assist me? I can only hope your customer service excels that of your craftsmanship.
