Red Lion Hotel in Sacramento California

I hoped for a clean 3 start room when I reserved for 2 nights in Sacramento's Red Lion Hotel.

What I got was a room with a dirty shower floor and a bedspread that still a Frito on it and reeked.

The photos I took of that experience will keep me from booking with Red Lion on my next trip.

Even third world countries have had cleaner rooms / linens / baths than California's capital (Sacramento) Red Lion.

What happened to the old Red Lion?
