PIZZA HUT COMMERCIAL COMPLAINT
|
PIZZA HUT COMMERCIAL COMPLAINT I just wanted to express great concern about a pizza hut commercial that I have recently viewed. The commercial is to promote your three medium pizzas for 5 dollars each. I normally do not let things like this bother me, but the commercial I saw really goes against my moral core. The commercial has a man telling his wife after he received his pizza that the deliver guy made a mistake again and he got the pizza for five bucks each. What kind of message are we sending our children with this commercial? This commercial emanates dishonesty. This commercial send the message to children that if someone makes a mistake then it is "okay" for one to take advantage of this situation. The man in the commercial feels "lucky" because someone else made a mistake to his advantage. What about the persons making the mistake? Children need to learn to consider what might happen to those making the mistake (ie. loss comes out of their check etc.). I general I think this commercial is in poor taste and send the wrong message to our children. Honesty is really the best policy and this commercial totally misses that mark.
