I purchased a Nikon D50 camera as a Christmas gift, but received a Nikon D40 with all generic products and an apparently photocopied instruction manual. When I called for the Return Authorization number, the supervisor tried to talk me out of returning it and when I wouldn’t give in, he became verbally abusive. Using the words “stupid” and “dumb*ss” regarding my decision to return a product that wasn’t even what I ordered, he surpassed any level of rudeness and unprofessional behavior I had ever encountered. He also stated he wouldn’t refund my shipping and add a 5% restocking fee on this incorrect item. Needless to say, I am disputing the charge with my credit card company. Steer clear of this company, they are unreliable and foul in the area of customer service.
