Delta Airlines Rip Off

Delta Airlines Rip Off Dear Sirs, Back in 10/15/2006 my Father died and we were forced to cancel our trip. Their representative , Ms Lynn Duncan in Huntsville Georgia assured us Deltas portion of our hotwire purchased ticket would be refunded with a copy of a death certificate. Since then I have called and left ten-fifteen messages for Ms Duncan and have never gotten a call back. I also have faxed and emailed the certificate many times along with an appeal for some sort of communication. This has been going on since 10/15/06 No response to my email or returned phone calls except this one from 12/8/06. Customer Care Email User wrote: Dear Mr. Robinson, Thank you for your e-mail. We were very sorry to learn about your loss and hope you will accept our deepest sympathy. As you were previously advised by Ms. Duncan, we cannot reissue the Bulk ticket purchased through HOTWIRE.COM. It does not permit changes. We can authorize a refund of the amount Delta received for your ticket if we receive a copy of the death certificate. Our department does not currently have a record of such receipt. While we hate to trouble you for a copy, all refunds are subject to audit. If you would kindly fax a copy to 1-888-286-3163 and include your address and name on the fax cover sheet we can further assist you. If you prefer you can mail it to: Customer Care, Post Office Box 20980, Atlanta, Georgia, 30320-2980. We look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Michael Barzey Manager Customer Care Since then I have attempted to solicit some sort of communication and none has come from either Ms Duncan or Mr Barzey. Delta is making no attempt to pay what they agreed to October 15, 2006. As of December 28 there has been no further comment from anyone in their company Ticket Number : 7651408105 and 7651408104 From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Thursday, 28-Dec-06 14:49:23 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
