Chase Automotive Finance Co.,NY

Chase is such an incompetent, unorganized, crooked organization. My husband and I purchase a 2002 Chevy Tahoe in 2-02. I was a co-signor on his account I later filed BK in 10/03 signing an affirmation to release responsibility to my husband to keep payments regularly as per our contract. Seems so simple, but as time went on and my husband made his payments on time as needed , we later went out to try to purchase a home in 9-05, here is where all of the BS began. We were getting our credit ran and out of the blue the first thing on my credit report was the lovely Chase, listing that I was deliquent on my payments not for 1 month not for 2 months, not even for 3 months, but for 2 whole years, thats right folks, I had not paid a carnote in 2years, yet I still had the vehicle (go figure), now what finance company will let someone drive around in a vehicle that has not been paid for in two years, give me a break. So I call the lovely and world class customer service department of Chase, in which they couldn't even find my account, so after being transferred several times, they discover that my account is now in the BK department, and of course this means trouble, I have been black-balled big time, there is a limit to what I can do, who I can talk to, what information I can have, and on top of all of this the wonderful person who is now in charge of my account is unavailable, so I leave a message, one whole day goes by, no response, two days go by, no response, I call back, get the runaround again, transferred, put on hold, asked what exactly do I need, and told that yes it looks like you are past due, but how, I'm holding in my hand all of the cancelled check payments, bank statements and all, but they don't have any record of this. Then I ask ok, well somebody is getting paid on the back of my checks show, that they were depositied for Chase to Bank One. And if I'm so far behind , why have I not received a letter or a call stating that someone will be picking up this vehicle, because, afterall it has not been paid for in two whole years (the time I filed BK). So the lady says good question, Oh and by the way she tells me, we have merged with Bank One, where have you been sending your payments? I read her the information and address, and she tells me no , we are located here at yada yada yada, that is not our payment location, Oh really I say , why wasn't I informed of this change, of course she doesn't know, right why does this not suprise me, so you mean to tell me I have been mailing payments in to a place that no longer exists, and now all of these payments are lost, it is now on my credit and you can't do anything huh? Well she says can you fax me your cancelled checks and bank statements which show these payments, yes I sure can I say, what is the fax number. I compile all of this mass paperwork, fax it over and ask for a response when it is received, needless to say after all of this, Chase and it's associates become so ghost you would think they are related to Osama Bin Laden, because I called and called and called, and no one could talk to me. Finally after about a week and a half later, I get a nasty call from a lady who thinks I'm some kind of and idiot or something, she tells me that none of these payments I faxed in can be found. (lady are you smokin). What, I say this is ridiculous, she says according to their records a payment had not been made since 10-03 ( which just happens to be when I filed BK). Ok so why is my husband still driving around in a vehicle that has not been paid for in two years, (silence), I don't know she says, we should have gotten something in the mail stating that the vehicle would be picked up do to unpaid car note. Yeah lady whatever, nothing here, maybe the letter is at the same place all of our payments went to .(ya think) ! I also asked so where are our payments supposed to be mailed to , and can we get a new payment coupon booklet which listsl this information , and also we needed another one anyway because we had none, and had been sending payments with just a check wrapped in a clean sheet of paper (by the way we requested new coupons for two years and never received them before all of this happened), well she says, because you filed BK you are no longer entiltled to a coupon booklet anymore all of your payments should come to our BK department and not to chase. Whaaaaaaaaat in the hell are you saying lady!!! (thats right folks, you heard right) I filed BK which means I have been black-balled, I am mud , I can't have one of their lovely coupon booklets because I filed for BK. Wonderful I say, well you can't receive your money because I don't know where it goes , who I'm paying, and what my payment balance is forreal or just how many payments I have left. Refreshing, how wonderful is this. This place is a total trip, I cannot for the life of me understand how and why they are still in business. Today is Wed. 12-27-06, I have made seven , thats right folks seven calls to Chase today, I have been hung up on by two old hags, transferred to people who are out on lovely holiday vacation probably with my money, transferred to voice mails of people who are either away from their desks on on the other line, told that there are no managers or supervisors or nobody in charge there to speak to today. You see the problem here now folks is that even though this vehicle was traded in on July of 2006, and paid out in full by our new finance company, my credit still reflects a balance due of 22K, yep thats right folks, I still owe 22,000 on a vehicle that before it was traded in by my husband earlier this year only had a balance of 10,300 due before it would have been paid for in 2-07. I know you're asking how is this? well that is my question too. Here we are three years later still trying to fix Chase's problem with their hiring of incompetent, ignorant, rude, unkowledgeable, uneducated, idiot, a-holes staff. They sure have the right name Chase, because thats all you do is chase these stupid people around looking for answers, solutions, and closure. I have continued to report these disgusting individuals to all of the right sources, the BBB, all of the major credit bureaus, and now I am just getting started, I will now report them to congress, and I'm considering getting my old buddy Jesse Jackson involved, hey why stop there, I wonder what Jeraldo Riveria, is doing now, my local news station would love to here from myself and others in similiar situations with Chase, who knows how many other people have had horrible experiences with this inexperienced, unconcerned, undeserving organization, who does not deserved to use the Bank One name. I feel sorry for Bank One, they used to have such a wonderful reputation, wonder how this whole sisterhood thing is going now. But in retrospect, Chase has literally F'd with the wrong one. I will see to it that their name is mud just like my name is with the three credit bureaus, which by the way their actions are illegal, and will be dealt with. IT IS AGAINST THE LAW CHASE , NOT TO REPORT UPDATED AND ACCURATE INFORMATION TO THE CREDIT BUREAU AND BY LAW YOU CAN BE SUED.... HOPE YOUR'E READY FOR THE MERGER BETWEEN MY FOOT AND YOUR --------- WELL YOU KNOW THE REST!!!!
