I recently purchased a software CD from this company to prepare for a test. Afterward I uninstalled the CD and wanted to resell but apparently you may use the CD one time only. You can't uninstall and resell. Please see the following message provided by the company. Of course, this is not messaged on the wrapper or anywhere prominent in any location where the CD is sold. This seems very unethical to me since once I purchase anything I feel I'm within my rights to resell if I'm no longer using the item in question:-----------------------

The FASTrack software is only licensed to one person and can't be shared or used by any more than one person in any way. It cannot be transferred, given away, or sold, even if you no longer need it and have removed it from your computer. Sharing the software not only violates the license agreement and international copyright law, but is also in direct conflict with the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Code of Conduct and Ethics. If you know of another user that would like to use the software, that person would have to purchase their own unused license. We will not allow any more installations or support for this serial number because of the violation.

At least you were able to use the software, I did a download and when the hard drive died they absolutely refused to register it since it had been installed twice already - so I am stuck with a $299. software that can never be used - not even by me.!!!!!

Wow. I came across this while looking for information about this software, as I'm preparing for the PMP exam.

Now that I see this, I'll have to rethink if it's worth buying. Sorry about your bad experience, but thanks for posting it as a warning.
