Maytag dependability plus service contract hi this is about Maytag's repair and scheduling group's weeks ago they sent out a repairman and he said my problem was a pc card. he would be back in two days to put it in. since then Maytag has cancelled scheduled appointments or not shown up. when questioned they claimed I needed more parts that did not come in. the repairman called in sick; the parts didn't come in .finally I was told when I asked to speak to management that no way; it wouldn't do me any good because no-one could touch them or change their minds. I complained by e-mail to Maytag and whirlpool. NO REPLY from Maytag ;whirlpool said they would research it. well yesterday I called again to confirm the dec 18 appointment.guess what the two people who placed me on the schedule and reconfirmed it the next day lied again.I am not on the schedule.here it is the Christmas season and I can only guess the people who schedule must live in a foreign country because they could care less whether they help me.depenability plus states if they can't repair it they would replace it/what a joke !!!my advice steer clear of Maytag; whirlpool ;jennaire because as customers go their isn't any need for us as they run the show not management.by the way I work for home depot;one of their biggest distributors and they signed an agreement to help their employees.HOME DEPOT THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR CONTRACTS.thanks I hope this keeps someone from making my mistake.by the time whirlpool researches it hell will have frozen over.
