On March 8, 2003 I purchased a Sony Home Theater system. I paid $635.00 for it. Up until recently I loved it, until it just stopped working. I purchesed it at Best Buy so took it in there for service. They told me it would be cheaper to buy a new one than repair the old system. I couldn't believe the operating life of this system is only 3 years old. For the money I invested in it, I expected more. I am very discouraged in the short live of a system costing well over $500. I will not be purchasing another one, as I am very displeased with the quality of the unit. I did not have any power surges or anything, it just stopped coming on. And to be told to forget it, it's not worth repairing was very disheartening to me.
