Bad performance of philips model AZ5140

Dear sir,

I bought a model of Philips 5 in one latest model portable "sound machine" paying Rs. 2960/ from a Philips show room in Jayanagar, Bangalore. The model was sold to me that this is the latest of the philips India products, has 80w power etc. After I took it home I found the audio quality of the product vey low and unacceptable. In fact the audio quality of my 15 year old philips ( model DR595) was far better which, I demonstrated to the dealer here. He agreed to exchange this model to another model AZ5140 which appeared better than the earlier model (both are called sound machine). Again after chechking the the perfomance of AZ5140 I find its VCR reproduction is very poor and sound is also bad. The dealer did change to a different piece and tried. But the performance is as bad and the dealer has thrown up his hands saying " this is the best he can do".

I bought Philips product as I had good experience with their audio products for past 15 years. Now that I have a bad experience after spending Rs 3750/ I will not buy another Philips product or reccomend it to friends. Iwould like to know if I can return the product and get back my money? I am frustrated with this bad products of Philips.

Request you let me know what I can do with a product of yours I very unhappy with?
