Direct TV My wife purchased Direct TV and it was to be installed on Dec 15th. In the mean time we purchased Direct TV through Best Buy with a special offer they had and installation was going to be on Dec 19th. We called Direct TV to cancel the first purchase with installation on the 15th. They inadvertently cancelled both orders. When I talked to their service department, they said I had to go back to the store offering the rebate and repurchase through them. I had to go back to the store during Christmas rush and parking problems. Finally, I had re-ordered Direct TV with an unacceptable installation date of after New Years. The real problem is, there is no one that can hear and remedy complaints. Every number leads to a service center that will change on subsequent calls. You can never talk to the same person and all they tell you is "I'm sorry, that's the best we can do" If you ask for a supervisors, supervisor, they do not exist. They are secure in the fact that there is no way to contact the corporate office effectively. while they provide terrible customer service. Their product and product service stinks. D.
