Hitachi 55' LCD Rear projection

I writing this e-mail because I purchased a Hitachi 55' LCD Rear projection on Sept 28, 2006. Something went wrong with it 2 months after buying it appox: November 27 - 28, 2006 ( vertical green lines from end to end on screen ) and I contacted 1-800-Hitachi for support. They directed me to a local repair in my area and when i called my appointment was made for the following monday December 4, 2006. A gentlmen came in and looked at it and told me he would need to order the part in order to fix it. As time went by I called Hitachi support and expressed how upset i was about this situation and was told "Just gotta wait it out sir! ". I called the company dealing with my repair December 11 2006 and was told the part is not in stock and I would have to wait another week to two weeks for it to come in which now means this $2500 peice of equipment I have pruchased from Hitachi will now been sitting in my living room broken for three weeks to a month. . I purchased this T.V. upon trust in Hitachi's dependability and performance and all I have experienced is a complete disregard for the consumer and is totally unacceptable
