Certegy Check Services, Inc.

Have been making purchase via check this holiday season to avoid credit card charges.

Tried to make a purchase at Sun Glass Hut in Crystal River Mall (FL). Sun Glass Hut employee called what I later learned to be Certegy. They denied the check despite the amount in the checking account, and the quality of the international bank.

I called Certegy "Customer Care" at (800) 770-3792 and got stonewalled.

Ridiculously, a much larger check was later approved by another check approval vendor via Electronic Funds Transfer in the same town. The second check was for more than twice as much as the Sun Glass Hut check would have been.

Certegy is obviously using incompetent methods to approve/disapprove checks. I will take whatever steps necessary to force proper change.

Can anyone kindly please advise relative to implementing action(s) to begin change in Certegy's errant behavior.
