Kenmore Elite Washer and Dryer

My husband and I recently purchased the Kenmore Elite frontload washer and dryer in 11/2006 from Kmart (now affiliated with Sears). We purchased pedastals separately from Sears to be installed upon delivery. When they washer and dryer arrived, we were told that the Sears store had not given us the hardware to install the pedastals. We went ahead and let them install the appliances and scheduled another date to have the pedastals installed. (We had to go back to the store where we purchased them to get the parts.) Two days after having the appliances delivered, the washing machine stopped working. The basic would not spin. I called for service and the tech suggested that I just call and have a new one brought out since they were so new, so I did. They were supposed to install the pedastals when they delivered the new washer. They failed to even use the spacer pads on the dryer. Let them sitting on top of it in a bag. Now, I am going to have to call them to come out for the dryer. It is making a terrible noise like it is rubbing something... even though there is nothing in there.
