Company: 1997 PONTIAC SUNFIRE AND GM CARS- BAD ENGINES

Category: Other

This is just a response from Consumer Message # 5 January 13, 2004 from

Complaints.com. The complaint is titled ~1997 Pontiac Sunfire - engine

seized at 47,000 miles - engine must be replaced~

Pointiac Sunfire and all pontiacs are poorly manufactured.

They lack a lot of quality and above all quality inspection especially with

the engine.

The engine runs out really fast.

Life expectancy on Pontiacs should be quoted at 4 months not 5 or ten years.

I am extremely dissapointed at GM, and I'm sure many GM consumers and

clients feel the same way.

The Pontiac Sunfire Engine was created in a hurry ( 2 weeks the most) and

that's my educated guess.

I found that the company is very dishonest and in all honesty false. They

only care about the money they get and not about customer satisfaction nor

feedback ( 25 unresponded polite complaints and letters).

In conclusion GM should not manifacture cars because they simply don't do it

good enough.

Honda and Nissan I am very Proud of. I've had them for five years and they

are still running.

If you want a really bad experience purchase a car manufactured by GM.
