1997 PONTIAC SUNFIRE AND GM CARS- BAD ENGINES

This is just a response from Consumer Message # 5 January 13, 2004 from
Complaints.com. The complaint is titled ~1997 Pontiac Sunfire - engine
seized at 47,000 miles - engine must be replaced~
Pointiac Sunfire and all pontiacs are poorly manufactured.
They lack a lot of quality and above all quality inspection especially with
The engine runs out really fast.
Life expectancy on Pontiacs should be quoted at 4 months not 5 or ten years.
I am extremely dissapointed at GM, and I'm sure many GM consumers and
clients feel the same way.
The Pontiac Sunfire Engine was created in a hurry ( 2 weeks the most) and
that's my educated guess.
I found that the company is very dishonest and in all honesty false. They
only care about the money they get and not about customer satisfaction nor
feedback ( 25 unresponded polite complaints and letters).
In conclusion GM should not manifacture cars because they simply don't do it
Honda and Nissan I am very Proud of. I've had them for five years and they
are still running.
If you want a really bad experience purchase a car manufactured by GM.
