After starting a job at the above named business my husband started noticing unsafe and unsanitary habits and practices. Cooks (incl. management) dropping food on the floor and serving it to customers making the comment and I quote "5 second rule". Serving food on dirty dishes, not cleaning cooking utensils properly, cutting raw chicken with a knife and then using the same (unwashed or rinsed) knife to cut vegetables and other food, frying food in oil that hasn't been changed in 3 days. when the oil did get changed they just drained it and poured new grease over the unwashed fryer with old crust and scrap food from the previous oil. The fresh oil would actually be brown from the nastiness of the fryers. All the while manangement is instruct the employees to do things in this manner beacuse they say there isn't enough time to do it properly. At the start of a business day before even being used the grills and fryers are caked with crust and scrap food from the day before and they cook and prepare their food this way and serve it to hundreds of people risking health and wellbeing. The general manager himself actually demanded that my husband who was a line cook come in and work while he was infected with a stomach virus. A virus is highly contagious why would you want someone who is ill preparing and serving food to customers? When my husband refused he was told that he would be fired. After talking with former employees I soon realized that this wasn't just a current problem that was just being overlooked they had been operating this way for years. Something needs to be done about this business. Hundreds of people consume food at this restaurant not knowing what has been done to there food or where it has been. The management obviously isn't going to address this issue being they are the main participants and training new employees to fall into this practice as well. PEOPLE'S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING SHOULD NOT BE PUT AT RISK FOR SOMEONE ELSES NEGLIGENCE, SLACK, AND/OR IGNORANCE!!!!!!!!
