Cingular Wireless has absolutely the worst customer service, next to

LG Electronics, that I have ever experienced. Their web site is

totally worthless. I consider myself pretty computer savvy, but I

defy anyone who is looking for something specific to be able to find

it without devoting hours of time or, as I have had to do, call to

get help. That is almost IMPOSSIBLE. They have a ENDLESS phone

loop. Case in point. Today I called to try to find a balance on one

of three "rebate" cards. After punching in several requested

numbers, I ended up hearing a message that they were closed today.


The rebate cards require an ESN # - not a phone number to get a

current amount remaining on the card. Obviously, they want to make

it as hard as possible to get information. I can only conclude that

they want to make obtaining rebate forms or balances on rebate cards

nearly impossible to use so that people simple give up and the

company pockets the remaining balances.


I am so fed up with Cingular and their poor customer "service."
