Dear Sir


My name is Imran Noor Chougulay and my problem is that we haven’t got our refund yet. My father Noor Mohd Sk M. Chougulay received a call from an agent of Airtel suggesting to change the pre paid card to postpaid and explained in detail the relative advantages. So my father told to that agent to speak to me on be half coz he was out of town. I had a talk with them and agreed to changed the prepaid SIM to postpaid with the same phone No. (9892428277). An agent came to our house on 16/3/2006. I filled up the relevant form, and gave the verification proof. I also told him that I want the postpaid card to be activated as soon as possible and on the same number. He agreed on it. A week passed but there was neither call nor any activation inquiry. So I call to the agent who visited in our house that day. His name is Rupesh from Andheri Branch, his number is (9867997045), he suggested me to call Mr. Monish from Sion Branch his number is (9892362409), but there was some other person he gave me another Number of Mr. Monish and said not to say who gave this No# to me the other no is (9892048258). When I talked to Mr Monish he said that he will check out the problem from his side. But there was no response. Later I visited Mira Road Airtel Gallery as I live in Mira Road. They said they cannot do anything about this as this is their matter and said I have to talk to the KAIZEN it self. I told him that there are not giving me positive reason weather I will get my refund or not. So I decided to meet them at their office. I once again made a call and asked for their address. On the next day itself I went to talk to them. I met the boss on (23rd June 2006 ) and had a conversation. He told me that I will get the refund after 45 working days by cheque. Now I have already waited for 3 months and now again I have to wait another 3 months. This sounded really a BULLSHIT to me. So I let him do the legal way. He gave me the date of refund ( 17th AUGUST 2006 ). And on top of that he minuses Rs.100/- as a cost of Sim Card which I did not receive.


 


It has been 5 months now and I have still not been able to get my REFUND. Till then as on date, I have been calling them day after day and they have been promising that I will get my refund. But no response.


 


I don’t understand, how a company like Bharti Cellular Ltd. Operating Aitel, can allow these F**king Dealers/Agent to behave in such a manner. I even called up the Airtel Customer Service, but their response was also cold. As I also mentioned before I went to the nearest Airtel Gallery but that didn’t turn out so good idea either. After having followed up almost everyday with their agent, now I wonder who I should turn to have my REFUND.
