I want to make a complaint about a company in Houston called Spiritridge

concrete creations.

We paid the owner of the company Steve Dvorak $1700.00 in December 2005 as

a 50 % deposit towards a custom 14 gauge stainless sink for our new house.

In June, 2006 I tried to contact him to come and measure for the sink after the kitchen cabinets were installed.Many phone calls and emails later he showed up at the new construction and promised that the sink would be ready

in 2 weeks. Neither of us had the contract at our meeting. Hence could not remember all the details in the contract.

I came home and looked at the contract and noticed that he was supposed to provide shop drawings. when I called him on June 30th he said that the shop drawings would be ready on July 3rd. I didn't hear from him again.I left several phone messages and sent him emails.In August i emailed him

threatening legal action if I didn't hear from him. A few minutes later the phone rang and he informed me that he will not fabricate the sink as I had sent him a threat.He emailed me that he will refund the money.

I didn't hear from him for another 10 days.I contacted a lawyer who sent him a legal notice to send the refund. Yesterday on August 29th he sent a check to the lawyer.

I know that he had no intention to make the sink when he took the money 6 months in advance.I could get the money back only through lawyer's intervention.

So beware of this guy. He is also delusional and claims that he is an artist and I didn't respect his artistic performance !!!!
