WWW.onlygolfapparel.com COMPANY: Only Golf Apparel www.onlygolfapparel.com BUSINESS TYPE: web-based golf apparel shop LOCATION: 14 North 1st Ave. Suite 100 St. Charles, IL 60177 Complaint/situation I purchased my husband a shirt and a pair of shoes from this company in the beginning of May of 2006. It took a month for the shirt to arrive. They shipped the shoes separately from Adidas and they came a week later. The shoes didn't fit my husband. So he called them and they told him where to ship the shoes back to and said they would exchange them. We shipped the shoes back in June. By the end of August strangely enough no replacement shoes had been sent. I started calling. The first day I spoke with a rude man who told me he would find out what happened and call me back that day. He failed too. I called the next day repeadtly only to get an answering machine, or fax machine. Finally on the third day I got ahold of someone. He put me on hold for an excessive amount of time and then told me that the shoes had a price sticker from a new york golf center on them so they couldn't take them back. Well we live in Kansas and had never purchased anything from a new york golf center. They had ordered the shoes from Adidas and these were the shoes that had arrived. THey said they could not take them back or exchange them. I asked why they kept the shoes so long and didn't call us to tell us this or call us back. The "man" got extremely rude with me and hung up. I called back and they hung up on me when I said i had just talked to them and wanted to know when they would send back these shoes they could not exchange even though we purchased them from their store. I called back again and they had the answering machine answer. So I left a message that we better have the shoes by the end of the week or I would contact the better business bureau. Strangely enough we got them 2 days later. That was the fastest service they have ever provided. >From reading the other complaints on this outfit, there seems to be a trend, of rude indiviuals working there, no regard for their customers, and taking their time with their shipments. We will never do business with them again, and I hope no one else does. There are far better outfits on the internet who offer quality service with friendly indiviuals.
