TWX AOL Premium Service (&/OR AOL, as Sponsor of TWX)

AOL &/or TWX AOL Premium service

Since April 2006, I have called both AOL and TWX Premium Service by phone on multiple occasions regarding this TWX Premium Service (this memo is dated August 30, 2006) in an unsuccessful attempt to cancel this unauthorized charge of $4.95 per month which they have been wrongfully charging my credit card continuous since December 17, 2005!!!! (This totals more than $600.00!!!! which AOL Premium Service contended that they can only refund up to 2 or 3 months of charges-- which they never have and they continue to bill !!! I relied on their word to discontinue billing but they did not, now I will notify my credit card company. But it seems I have suffered damages that they refuse to even compensate me for. They even reneged on an unsolicited promise to, at least, pay me for the "3 months" and to reduce my AOL internet bill to $9.95 or $10.95 per month, permanently, in an attempt to make amends.

I did not discover this over-billing or what this TWX service was all about until April 2006. TWX has something to do with a service that answers your e-mail or internet connection while you may be on line (or something like this; I still don't know what it actually does but I do know that I never, ever used it or ordered it, nor did anyone in my household ever use or order it!!).

The reason I never questioned it before, is that I mistakenly thought it was some type of "premium charge for AOL's Internet Provider service" that was automatic and that I had no choice in if I chose to retain AOL's Provider service.

SOME ONE (maybe me) NEEDS TO CONTACT A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT ATTORNEY TO SUE THESE BUZZARDS. Their conduct is consistent, based on other complaints I have observed on the Net, and moreover, it is highly offensive and unconscionable. They need to be taught a lesson with Multi million dollar fine imposed by the court; this is the only language they will understand.
