Shoe Returns

I'm writing about a Famous Footwear Store at 1430 N Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, AZ 85338. As everyone knows, their business is selling shoes. My complaint is about their RETURN POLICY and their BUY 1 GET 1 1/2 OFF SHOE SALE. I purchased two pairs of shoes, paid 49.99 for one and got the second pair for 19.99. Several days later I went to return the first pair, as they were hurting my feet. I was told that I would only be given the full price of the second pair (30.00) refunded, not the 49.99 I paid for the pair I was returning. I pointed this out, but was told again I would not be receiving the purchase price of the 1st pair. WATCH OUT EVERYBODY. Their BUY 1 GET 1 1/2 OFF SALE is a rip off when trying to return a pair purchased during this sale. From now on, if I even consider buying from them again, I'll make two seperate purchases. You've been warned.

You buy two pairs of shoes and that qualifies you for the equal or lesser pair at 1/2 price. If you return the more expensive shoe, then you no longer qualify for the buy one get 1/2 off promotion since you are only keeping 1 pair of shoes.

you're trying to game the system. What part of Buy 1 get 1/2 off (Second pair 1/2 price) don't you understand.

Under their promotion, the store was correct in charging you full price for the ONE pair that you kept.

The sale is buy one pair get the second pair half off. You can't expect to return your full price pair and keep your second pair at half price.

Your transaction was one pair for 49.99 and a second pair for 39.99 which then came down to 19.99 for the half price. So when you returned the first pair you only got thirty dollars because they brought the second pair back to full price. So you got the 49.99 back minus the 19.99 they added back onto the second pair.

They aren't ripping you off. You're just a moron.
