Sears Mastercard / Credit Card

Sears Mastercard / Credit Card If you have a SEARS Mastercard or any credit card, I have an advice for you : 1) TEAR YOUR CARD AND CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY ! 2) Call the Sears card several times and do not take a service rep's reply as the final word, since each time you call, you may get a different response. This is what happened to me : 1) Worst customer service, and non-existent Fraudulent Claims Department. I have a Sears card which I used to make 1 purchase: an appliance from Sears several years ago. Last year, someone used my Sears card number to pay for an ISP service (about $20) which I never used. I had to file for a fraudulent charge and submitted an affidavit, which I did very willingly. Seven months later, no response or reply from Sears regarding my dispute case. Each time I want to make a payment, I was told that I didn't have to since that charge was in dispute, and I would get a credit back of all finance charge or late fee payment. Well, after 7 months, my $20 charge is now compounded by over 32.24% finance charge with a $39 monthly late fee, and guess what, the last customer service manager said those finance charge and late fee are NOT DISPUTABLE. I know have over $500 in charges which i finally paid, from an initial $20 unauthorized charge. 2) REWARDS PROGRAM - a program without rewards I was automatically signed up for a rewards program, which was fine until I tried to redeem points. No reward ever came on a gift card I redeemed. 6 customer service calls and I gave up all hopes. When I tried to stop the rewards program since I don't plan on using that anymore, all my remaining points vanished, without ever a explanation from customer service rep that any unused points will disappear once the rewards program ends. So, my advice to you, ask and make sure you understand Sears card policy. Ask again, since someone else may give you a different explanation. What Sears card rep does not tell you now will come back and bite you big time later. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
