To anyone there that cares about customer satisfaction and

profitability of Overstock....BUYER BEWARE

I have received my second chair from you guys...the first had a broken

leg due to improper packaging...

I had to re-package and shrink rap the box you used to try to get the

chair rma'd in one piece...the box was super thin and obviously

inadequate for something fragile like a wooden chair. Thinking this had

to be a fluke instance I did not complain about spending my time and

money to rebox the chair for a safe return. I found out when the

replacement came that this was no fluke.

The replacement was shipped in the same type box and surprisingly enough

had a broken leg --- again. Also, the idiot that labeled it put the UPS

label on the bottom...shipping it upside down, even though the box

clearly say --"this side up". You have to be kidding me!!! Are you

outsourcing shipping to a local elementary school??? This is ridiculous

and unacceptable.

I negotiated from $5 to $50 in compensation for again having to spend my

time and money (packing materials) on returning this broken chair -- yes

your online helper (ashton) thought $5 would cover an hour of my time

and shipping materials to ensure more damage does not occur (which I am

sure you would charge me for)

All said ... I am totally dissatisfied with snotty customer service and

horrible shipping and doubt you are capable of shipping this chair in a

manner that keeps it intact. We spend thousands online annually and

Overstock will never --- ever ---see another cent of that !!!

Enclosed are pictures of the box you sent me, and the chair --- and the

return I (professionally) prepared for you.

Get with it GUYS! Seriously !
