Empire Hyundai Fall River Mass. Purchase a 2001 Hyundai in 2003 with 15K mile. Bought the extended warranty being cautious about the brand. Salesman "Tony" assured me that since I live 50 miles away, I would be treated good when any assistance was needed. I had noticed the car didn't brake very well especially in wet and snowy roads and saw that the rear right caliper was not working. The can needed new front wheel bearings at 30K miles so I brought it in and mentioned that they needed to check this bad caliper. The service guy "Dave" said there's nothing wrong with the brakes but did replace just the wheel bearings. I knew that he was wrong but what can I do. He told me to get the rotors turned and get new pads. I did this even though it didn't really need pads or rotor work. Just needed the caliper to be able to move. Of course it didn't help. Well now with 47K I needed another new set of front wheel bearings and once again I try to get them to replace the rear caliper. New service guy " J.R." was nicer to deal with but the same old cheap lying baster treatment. Get this. The caliper was stuck because there was never any brake fluid going thru the brake line. So from day 1 it's been braking with only 3 wheels. Here's the best part. They charged me $700 to fix the brakes and replace the factory defective brake line. Not to happy that I spent $900 for an extended warranty. I could not even get them to cover the factory problems. Buyers beware.
