Travellers Advantage trial membership

I wanted to add to a complaint posted by someone named

David about Travellers advantage. They just tried the

old "bait and switch" on me. I had a membership that I

cancelled back in April. I joined because I was trying

to save money on a hotel room since I had to relocate

for my new job. I got a check in the mail yesterday

for $8. If you read what's written on the back of the

check, and I insist that anyone reading this does so,

it says that if you cash this check, you will be

charged $119.99 after a one-month trial period.

Granted, they are not charging you right away, but how

many of us have forgotten to cancel the membership

after a month? That's what they're counting on! They

wanted to give me $8 so they can charge me

$119....huh?? That's not the best part...the

membership will automatically renew after a year. This

people are the scam artists scam artist!!!
