Mac Tech Pro

Mac Tech Pro, a computer services company in

Jacksonville, FL, has a reputation for inflating the

hourly rate and amount of time it requires to do

maintenance and repair on a Macintosh. The manager,

Darren Dillinger, charged my employer $700 to write a

half-baked proposal that would charge $33,000 a year

to maintain 30 G3s. Obviously, you could almost

purchase 30 new iMacs for that amount of money, but

the proposal is not a billable item in the first

place. This was made clear more than once that it was

for speculative business purposes. Avoid using this

firm.
