After paying my premiums to the same company over ten years I went trough a divorce. Soon afterwards I begin having large increases in my premiums. Being a trusting soul I went to the agent and discussed the problem with her several times each time she would reassure me that it was the company's fault. In Nov. I had made my last installment for 2005 making my insurance paid till 01/04/06. Because of the past bookkeeping of this agent, the company or agent putting my adult son on my policy, a wreck that my son had on my record and letting my ex-wife pull her name off and adding my son's name to my policy with out my knowledge also using my money for the ex-wife's new policy instead of my policy, I finally changed to a good company. Now Alstate has the audacity to say I owe then more money. The bean counters are really smoking some good stuff I guess. My one good thing is I have signed receipts.
